My classmate Giovanni Braggio made this wonderful tutorial video on how to animate in Maya as a final project at the Professional Animation Course I have attended to at The Animation Workshop in Viborg.
It’s a real eye opener. Watch it. To the finish. You won’t regret it!
This is the best everyone please watch.
those last 4 seconds are about as real as you can get.

30 Day Challenge // Day 24 // Something That Represents our Favorite Culture
I’m Buddhist and I’ve always loved the imagery even before I was. The wrathful deities from Tibetan and Mahayana art always fascinated me as a kid. They were like transformations the gods took on in battle. Like a monster magical girl I guess. His is name is Mahakala. Power Prism Make Up.
this is perfect gif
yes this is art
ok but seriously, if anyone argues that Frozen has the best ice in animation, all you’d have to do is show them this jfc
this is from Dreamworks’ ”Rise of the Guardians.”
Your move, Disney.
OMG I THOUGHT THAT WAS REAL
THANK YOU^
If people seriously think Disney is doing anything groundbreaking right now they just aren’t looking at any other animation studios.
I found this gorgeous animated short film, which was directed by Ishida YuYasushi. The stylization and charm reminds me of Studio Ghibli films or anything made by Mamoru Hosoda, the director of Summer Wars and The Girl who Leapt Through Time.
See THIS is why animation is so amazing. They make you feel for a chair. A CHAIR, PEOPLE. Tears! I’m a weeny and I’m crying, so there.
